So do we believe there were Giants on the earth in the old days? Yes of course. Either there were very large people alive back then, or we are even larger people alive now, and in the olden days (in the days of Noah) people were smaller. Less likely. But we think that this is not what we should focus on, because from our Scriptures we can indeed find numerous descriptions of huge beings. Some very tall people. We even have their exact height, the tallest ones come in at some 140 meters. So this is what we would call a large being (of a massive physical stature), and they did exist in the Promised Lands of southern Africa and likely in Africa as a whole. And we do actually have proof of this, what some might call rock-solid proof. Lets dive !
Now In our Bibles they, meaning these very tall men, often appear under the name of Anakim, and are furthermore described as the descendants of Anak. They lived in the southern parts of the land of Kanaan, not far from Hebron (Genesis 23,2 & Joshua 15,13). However, if we go to Genesis 14,5-6 we can see that they also inhabited the region later known as Edom and Moab. Now the Anakim, may have ties to the deeply African practice of placing rings around the neck to elongate the neck itself, as a sign of youth and beauty. The Hebrew word Anak, seems to have a root meaning of Necklace or chain around neck, Anak - attached. And we will look further into this now. A people chained at the Neck.
As we know the Ndebele Tribe in South Africa wears these rings to elongate the neck. The idzila, as it is called, can be a symbol of marital status and a way to show your culture. These days the rings are fitted looser, unlike other examples we have included with tight and increased size width as you come closer to the beginning of the neck. Now if we go further inland into Africa you will find other tribes and theirs are tight, made so to elongate the neck.
This becomes the norm for tribes such as the Suri (Surma) people of Northern Kenya and south Ethiopia. They share language and traditions, but find themselves in two different countries on account of colonialism. These areas are also connected to Shinar and Babel, which is another story.
Back to the Anakim, that are also called a Rephaite tribe (Deuteronomy 2,10-11):
10 (The Emites used to live there—a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. 11 Like the Anakites, they too were considered Rephaites, but the Moabites called them Emites.
We can see here again the mentions of tall men, and that they were many. And their appearance are described in great detail by ten of Moses 12 spies sent to search the lands. And they, the giants, filled the land with terror. Now these Nephilim, we can find descriptions of in Genesis 6,4:
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
Now if you read the verses prior in the same chapter in Genesis, you will see descriptions of humans and how long they should live (Genesis 6,3). The way this is written, as a contrast to normal humans, is why we believe that the descriptions of Nephilim are there to show that these beings were indeed different. They were large in size and were their Spirits. And not in a good way.
And Numbers 13,33:
33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
Very very large beings. And on all accounts there men and women seemed to be renowned. But Caleb and Joshua, of the spies that Moses sent, do seem to tone it down a bit as they were not afraid of any men, regardless of their size.
Therefore there are not to many clear descriptions of giants, other then the ones we have mentioned. And Joshua must have taken down several of these mighty men. As we can read Joshua removed these giants from The Promised Lands, seemingly one by one. And it was written that some of the Giants sought refuge in the cities of Gaza, Gath and Ashdod, all cities on the far side of the Jordan (Joshua 11,22) and in the Lands of Moab. Now, being close to Gaza, one can only assume that Goliath came from this line of Anakims (II Samuel 21,15-22). Now Joshua did finally remove these Giants (Anakims and or Nephilims) from the land, except for a few that remained among the Philistines around the areas of Gaza, in the lands of Moab (Joshua 11,22). And we know that from these lands came Goliath, the very tall man that the little Boy, who was to be King and to small for his own armour, defeated with his slingshot (II Samuel 21).
Now, it is not only in the Bible can we find a mention of the people of Anak (Anaq), we can find mentions of the 3 rulers of Ly Anaq as Erum, Abiyamimu and Akirum, from Egyptian writings of the Middle Kingdom. These were cited as political enemies in the land of Kanaan, in the south. People with chained necks.
The Nephilim, as these giants also are also called in our Bibles, are indeed somewhat clouded in mystery these days. They were described as being both great in size and strength, or beings or great power, authority and ability. Now we think it goes deeper than that as the Bible tells us, because through the Book of Enoch, we see that these Nephilims are described as the offspring of rebellious angels and human beings.
Angels had sons and daughters with females. This gave birth to something, rather unnatural in the spirit and in the physical. Perhaps they can be described as being both large in stature and spirit. Also, there are other schools of thought saying these are the descendants of Seth and Cain. Which makes less sense, but can also be entertained, but it does lead one down the path of Cains seed (devil seed), which Spiritually works just fine as things can certainly be born in the Spirit, but in physical reality it does not manifest. These descendants were drowned in the flood, physically, but in the spirit, that is something different. And the spirit of these beings may well have endured, birthing more unnatural things of great power and seemingly violent nature. Remember the days of Noah? SoNiNi destroyed the earth because of the inequity of the people alive then. And Giants roamed around, killing and eating people at their leisure. And worse, Not one single thought of SoNiNi was to be found in the minds and hearts of the people. What desperate times, will they come again? Lets go into our Scriptures and do some digging !
So then, another term or word for Nephilim, is the word fallen. And now things start getting interesting, if we consult the whole of Ezekiel 32, the word is used about the nations that will fall, like the fallen warriors (gibborim), those that fell before SoNiNi. Killed by the sword. This meaning could be different.
We can see references to something else in the other books. As we go on and look at this one in Judith 16,6:
But SoNiNi naNiNi has foiled them by the hand of a woman. 6 For their mighty one did not fall by the hands of the young men, nor did the sons of the Titans (Mighty Ones) strike him down, nor did tall giants set upon him; but Judith daughter of Merari with the beauty of her countenance undid him.
And our favourite book Sirach 16,7:
SoNiNi did not forgive the ancient giants who revolted in their might.
Then, more fleshed out in Baruch 3,26-28:
The giants were born there, who were famous of old, great in stature, expert in war. SoNiNi did not choose them, or give them the way to knowledge; 28 so they perished because they had no wisdom, they perished through their folly.
Remember these books, Baruch and Sirach (Ecclesiasticus) were both in the King James Bible, strange how knowledge in books like these are so much lesser known these days. The Giants are even mentioned in Wisdom of Solomon 14,6:
For even in the beginning, when arrogant giants were perishing, the hope of the world took refuge on a raft, and guided by your hand left to the world the seed of a new generation.
So this last verse seem to imply that the Giants as physical all died out during the Flood. Which may be a point for later. Now you will notice most of these books we just quoted are so-called Apocryphal, meaning they are additions to our Bible. They are extra curricular. Kinda. We on the other hand read them as curricular, meaning we can recognise the inspiration behind the authors. We see the same style and grammar, that SoNiNi uses through his chosen scribes. We are not afraid of these books, neither should you be. So lets go deeper !
Nephilim Root Word & Lore
Now if we go into the etymological world and the study of words, we can see not all instances of the use of the word does refer to Giants, but more in the sense of Fallen or even Doomed (Damned). Nonetheless, they all come from the stem and root verb NPL (נ־פ־ל) fall or fallen, or even those that are fallen and cause others to fall. You see how the English gets to be revealed as a poor mans language even more poor than the ancient trade languages, it is so limiting. Now, NPL or the ones who have fallen, can also turn into the overseers, appointed ones, or the watchers, or asira the bound ones, or anak, the chained ones, the prisoners.
Another look takes us towards the fallen ones, like in Ezekiel, the fallen ones of war, the ones who fell in battle (Gibborim). Now most of the ancient translations we have The Greek Scriptures (Septuagint and Theodotion), Roman Scriptures (Latin Vulgate), Samaritan writings (supposed Aramaic), other Targums (Onkelos and Neofiti) - all these interpret the word as meaning Giants.
If we read later translators, and perhaps they should be considered less trustworthy as the continent we know as Africa and especially the post Roman colonised areas of Southern Africa - surely was under attack (500AD hundreds and onwards). In reading the works of these men, we move further from Africa South and Central, and towards North Africa, and people such as Roman statesman Quintus Aurelius Symmachus (and even further of the continent to Aquila of Sinope that was based around modern day Turkey), they go further and write that the Nephilim were known as the violent ones or the ones that fall upon their enemies. So this was a theme among ancient writers, violent Giants were roaming about and causing people to fall.
We can go into who these Giants would have been historically, lets call it something like Nephilim Lore, and we think this lore reflect in the Sumerian and Babylonian writings (Sons of Ea and that Antediluvian and Atlantis eras), even Greek (Iliad Pantheon) and Egyptian (Anakite) for that matter, as they all seem rather similar in their mythological realms - and even more so in our cultural African Beliefs and Religions. They all seem to relate to one another.
However, as we include a few of the Beliefs from all over Africa below, you will see just how comprehensive this list is would be in its fullness (you will find it below somewhat alphabetically and geographically).
Now do not be offended if you find names in there perhaps used today in worship for The Almighty, just take note their origin and geographical placement. And please, pray about it. The geographical area and placement of the god prayed to should be enough to cause concerned for ANY man praying to say Oludomare (West African divination name) or Yah or Yahweh (Northeastern African desert god), Amen of Egypt, or even (in our opinion) Nzambe (Kongolese name of a sun god that has a wife moon goddess). Of curse these may have been historically obscured from their true meaning, HOWEVER, SoNiNi does not share his Glory, His Dwelling places or Name with any other beings. So we believe If you see the root word and who uses these names and what they worship, it can be argued surely that they are not to be found on believers lips. At the very least it should not feature in worship of The Oldest One, The owner of the Dazzling Light. Read the below list then get back to us either in agreement or in anger. We welcome both.
Now, We include the descriptions of the major beliefs from all over Africa first, then towards the end of the list, from lands in the southern parts of Africa. Drawing a line not far from the River Euphrates (Zambezi) as it is there the beliefs seem to change. In these areas you will find more common ground, One Supreme Being - in terms of the descriptions and attributes of their main deity, then they tend to change outside the borders and vicinity of the Promised Lands. We call this Cultural traces of SoNiNi. Hard to fake, even harder to deny. Now Remember please people, this list is not meant to offend anyone or mock their beliefs, it is not comprehensive and is included for edification and to give insight into African beliefs and its progression (sometimes regression). And if we compare some of these to other ancient mythological beliefs, Egyptian or Greek, Persian or Babylonian, not many of them present anything new.

Mwene Nyaga - Owner of the Dazzling Light, is just another name for Ngai, also called the Possessor of Brightness
Engai - Another name for the same deity, with connections to Ol Doinyo Lengai, Mountain of God, found in the North of Tanzania. Engai or Enkai also means rain. The Masaai serve as high priest and diviners for the sacrifices and ritual preformed on the mountain. Gikuyu is the first man.
Shona of Zimbabwe (Egyptian & Bantu mythology)
Mwari - Musikavanhu creator of all people, a monolithic belief you will find in Zimbabwe and SoNiNi certainly has his mark on this people (possibly remains of Ephraim now under jealousy) as can be seen in their religion and practises. Most likely a remnant of Ephraim. Although there are elements of belief that bear ancestral prayer remarks and open doors to other influences. Bira Ceremony and dzavadzimu is for sure a closer of doors (as well as Mitupo) in communication with SoNiNis Spirit and guidance.
Nyami Nyami - and you have elements of these kinds of beliefs like the river snake or the Zambezi River god, Kariba legend.
Tambuka of Malawi & Tanzania (Greek mythology)
Chiuta - means Great Bow and is the name of the Supreme Creator, symbolised in the Sky by the Rainbow. A great hunter in Thumbuka mythology, with three animals fulu (tortoise), kalulu (hare) and chimbwi (hyena) central to this pantheon of natural theology. Works kinda like a trinity right? People there can be only one.
IsiXhosa of South Africa (Bantu & Egyptian mythology)
uThixo - the name of god in isiXhosa, it also means the Almighty and is rendered so in our Scriptures. Kinda like Xhosa version of Lord.
Qamata - Another name for God as The Creator of The Heavens and The Earth, very much in the spiritual sense and unfortunetly this name is connected with the ancestral world - which are people that have passed. People we are not supposed to talk to, remember when Saul woke Samuel did Samuel sound happy? It was a violation of SoNiNis commands. We are not supposed to communicate with the dead.
SoNiNi naNiNi - the Ancient Name of The Great I am that I am, culturally it has been used in recent times mostly by Zulus, but the name does also occur in Xhosa, Tswana and Pedi. Strong ties to Amaraic, the Aram Language.
Molo - controversial, name of a party god and abortion, also used as a greeting in Xhosa, happens to be name of a god in the Bible (Molok)
Mythical - a plethora of trickster figures like Tikoloshe and Hlakanyana
TshiVenda & BaPedi of South Africa (Bantu & African myth)
Modimo - Also called Mmopi and Mudzimo, is a monolithic belief in One Supreme Creator God, called upon by burning incense, and making an offering (go phasa), animal sacrifice if necessary. For deep and troubled Pedi beliefs we go on into Kgadi (fathers elder sister), then comes the diviner Ngaka and things start to take a turn for the worse here. We are talking violent possession of spirits (malopo) for material gains. It goes of the rails quickly from here.
Huveane - also known as Huwe or Huve in Venda, is also present in BaPedi beliefs and culture, is referred to as The Creator. Huveane was also the first human on earth, he created the first human from clay. Manu Traits of Moses here, circumcision, initiation, dowry and cattle trade, same musical instruments as David plays harps (six note scales), deep fixation on ancestor lineage almost as madly as the ancient Hebrews themselves.
SeSotho of Lesotho (Bantu & Egyptian mythology)
Modimo - Creator God and Supreme deity in the traditional Sotho -Tswana beliefs, also called Molimo or Mlimo for southern and northern Ndebele. Its deeply rooted in langauge this one, Mo - indicates a person and Dzimu - means sky or above in the sky. So it can also be translated as The High One or the The One in the Sky.
Ditaolane - hero and deity in Sothos mythology, when he was born all humans had been eaten by Kammapa. Ditaola means divination bones, something we are warned about in Scripture not to practise. You see it starts of so well with one Supreme Being, then goes off the rails.
AmaZulu of South Africa (Bantu & Roman mythology)
SoNiNi naNiNi - literally translates directly to the name given to Moses when he asked who shall I say sent me? SoNiNi naNiNi - I am that I am. The Great I am, or I am Forever and ever.
Unkulunkulu - is well known for Zulus, the heritage of SoNiNi is found in the language itself. Many similar Nguni words, to connect to Hebrew and Aramaic. Take the name of Unkulunkulu, which literally means the ultimate or the first ancestor, and is a by most accounts a mythical creature and ancestor at first and then morphs into the Supreme Creator. Defined so by Zulus, Swatis and Ndebeles.
Umvelinqangi - Nguni word that translates literally to The Most High, The Highest One. The Divine consciousness, the source of all that has been, all that is and all that ever will be.
Inkosazana - A normal way of addressing women as a greet, but is also the name of a Mythical fertility goddess (Nomkhumbulwane)
uHlakanyana - trickster figure in Zulu mythology
Tokoloshe - a figure which is like the Irish belief of Leprechauns only on steroids, this figure is pure nightmare fuel, and evil dwarf like looking spirit that chews on your toes as you sleep. Become invisible by drinking water
Uncama - mythical hero, known for travels to underworld and back
Mbaba Mwana Maresa - goddess of beer and festivities, popular these days
We will place all these beliefs and spiritual systems on to a large scaled map in the future, then it becomes much clearer what we are talking about. We can then see that when tracking SoNiNis people through their beliefs, they are revealed on a map, the map reflects the Promised Land and the other lands as they reacted to its expansion and contraction. We included this mostly for later edification as it is part of a larger article. So we will move on and get back to proofs for these Nephilims. As we actually do have some rock solid proof, as shown above.
Now then, seen as that list is out of the way, and we do realise this should have been its own article and it most likely will include a few of these when we publish the 12 Tribes article. Now we can go on to look at one of the more serious pieces of evidence for Giants, is the footprint in rock you find in Mpumalanga close to Lothair (image top right). There are all kinds of stories about its origins, even that it stems from Goliath himself. We wont go that far, it is a giant footprint from what we can see, and very well preserved. People will say all kinds though to disprove this, like dinosaur (and we not sure those even existed in the sense of palaeontology), or as they say just a fluke of erosion. We think neither one of these two are correct. We see a footprint of a large human being. 4-5 toes, big arch with a wide fit. Could it be carved by a person? Sure it could, but we dont think so. As these areas of Mpumalanga are literally the backyard of the ancient Lands of Moab, close to Mozambican border, in the areas of Gaza where the descendants of Anakim were said to have a last stronghold. This was all until David ended the line of Goliath.
Now if we go back to our Scriptures, we can find 3 passages that sorta seem to talk about the same thing when referencing the Nephilim. We can got back to reading the first reference (and perhaps the most famous one) in Genesis 6,1-4:
When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then SoNiNi said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
This is a verse that appears just before the earth is flooded. So we can read from this particular translation, the use of words, sons of SoNiNi or Sons of God. This we can only interpret as what we call Angels. Beings created even before the heavens and the earth, if we read our Scriptures with a magnifying glass. And we tend to. So it seems that these Angels and humans had children, and this will turn out to be a conflict of interest. We think because of sin, it can really go both ways. As we know for sure people are worshipping some of these Angels today. Now these children are the mighty men of old, mythical creatures we can read about in the ancient writings, like the ones from Sumerian myths such as: Enki (Eridu Genesis), Ziusudra, An and Enlil. Wonderful reads, and certainly holds elements of truth. The same goes for the Babylonian myths. One can only wonder, were Tolkien (writer of Lord of the Rings universe) got most of his inspirations. A large topic, but may bring deeper understanding of Scripture as the fallen ones are written about there also, but shrouded in fantasy.
Moving on, We have yet to confirm the validity of this photo on the right, if its fake or not. But that does not really matter, as we do not even know from where this photo was taken, people look Indian. But traces of these giants has been found all over the world and even on ancient maps there are all kinds of descriptions of large man eaters and especially Cyclopes (One Eyed Giants) in Africa. Anyways, The footprint from Mpumalanga is enough for people to come to terms that indeed there used to be some very large human beings roaming the earth.
So if we look at the ancient sources that we have, like the Greek Translation of the Hebrew Bible, called the Septuagint, which is said to be composed not many centuries before Christ was born. And in this translation we find the Greek Word, Gigantes, beings of great strength and aggression, but the size aspect does not seem to be that prevalent in the Greek form of the word. So The form of fallen, or the fallen ones, became Giants as the Latin Vulgate (some centuries after Christ) also riffed of the Greek Translation. If the Greek where to have followed the Hebrew, it would have been Peptokotes, which does in fact appear in Ezekiel 32-22-27. So there is signs of a change in philosophy and even cosmogony, in favour of the Greek view. Confusing? Yes certainly. But remember the Greek were men of rationality, as is reflected in their great thinkers. So they would have played down the notion of Gigantic men. That does not mean they did not exist. Lets look at some Scriptures.
Now if we consult 1 Enoch, these were indeed Great Giants, whose height was 300 cubit, and as we think the measure of the cubit is not 100% correct, historically 1 cubit was 46cm - the length of an elbow to finger, these Giants then become at least 140meters tall. Even if the cubit is smaller then it used to be, they still would be over 100 meters tall. Please imagine that, as tall as half a Sky-Scraper. Now that is one tall being. So where did they come from? Well, this is where things get complicated. As it involves Angels and men.... So to understand this we need to look closer into Scripture.
Now, there are more references to Angels and the whole concept of Sons of Heaven, in the form of Sons of God, in Job 1,6:
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before SoNiNi, and Satan also came with them.
We see here that Angels came to report to SoNiNi, and asking about Satans schemes. Now the Greek version reads Angels of God, while the Roman (Latin) version reads Sons of God. No doubt about that. So as the Text reads, the Sons of God (Angels) saw the Daughters of men that they were fair, some sources say sons of Heaven, and books like Baruch, Josephus and Book of Jude, use the same language (1 Enoch 7,2):
"And when the angels, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamoured of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children."
This is the topic, because these spirits lived on (in the spiritual). And they are commanding the worship today. And we, the people on this theatre stage, are what they need. They need our beliefs, to trap them and ultimately limit them. They use Scripture against you, not for you. They aim to trap you into legalese, not set you free, like the Gospel is intended to do. To set you free and then come to the realisation of who you can be through Christ. Sky is not even the limit. So do not get caught into this Superhuman (trans humanism and trans gender topics), its all of their old teachings. They enjoy blurring the lines between human and angels. Male and female. Look at the actors on the big stage, Avengers and Superhumans everywhere you look. This is what people aspire to, magic and wizards. Black and white. And people do not know that through Christ you can do unexplainable miracles and healings. Things beyond human comprehension, and without having to sell your soul in the process. So stay clear of the theologies of the Gigantes (Nephilim), they will only ensnare your soul.
Now if you go to Book of Enoch or 1 Enoch as it is known in the Ethiopian Cannon (and in Jubilees - fresh source and therefore debatable), we can find further elaborations of the Nephili. And Enoch goes further to connect these beings to fallen angels or egregoroi, the ones who watch. Which is rather ambiguous and can be referred to both good and bad angels. Looking on we can find verses that go into detail on the origins and names of these fallen ones (1 Enoch 45):
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another:
"Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children."
And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: "I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin." And they all answered him and said: "Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing." Then swore they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it ...
Here we can find Semjaza, the highest ranked of these fallen ones (Lucifer?) and leader of these angels that came down to earth to sleep with human females. Moving deeper into the traditions explained in Enoch, we find the these Children are furthermore called the Elioud, a separate race then the Nephilim themselves, but sharing the same fate. They excel in wickedness, like it is a sport to them how wicked they can become or how much they can do. Blood is nothing to them, and some say they even need it to sustain their wickedness.
Now there are all kinds of theories about these fallen ones, and where they will be sent into Outer Darkness or Spirits in Prison (1 Peter 3,19-20):
19 After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolises baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward
Some interesting insights there from Peter, the Outer Darkness is indeed where some of these spirits find themselves right now (!) a real birds eye view he shares here, and we can read more in Jude 1,6:
6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.
And then we have Enoch, putting all of these into system, giving strong foundations and revelations of their positions with some Scriptures for you to cross reference and confirm (because we know you enjoy that), 1 Enoch 20,1-1:
And these are the names of the holy angels who watch.(Revelation 8:2), (Hebrews 1:7), (Revelation 1:4), (Revelation 4:5), (Revelation 5:6), (Zechariah 4:10) (Revelation 1:16), (Revelation 1:20), (Zechariah 3:9), (Revelation 2:1), (Revelation 3:1), (Revelation 15:6)
2. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus.
3. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men.(Tobías 12:15), (Tobías 3:16-17), (Tobías 5:4-17), (Tobías 6), (Tobías 12:15-22)
4. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries.
5. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos.(Daniel 10:13), (Daniel 10:21), (Daniel 12:1), (Jude 1:9), (Revelation 12:7)
6. Saraqael, one of the holy angels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit.
7. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim.(Daniel 8:16), (Daniel 9:21), (Luke 1:19), (Luke 1:26), (Genesis 3:24), (Exodus 25:18-22), (Ezekiel 10:4-5)
8. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom God set over those who rise.
Angels cosmogony and explanations with Scriptures for people to double check. And this is why Enoch is such a dangerous book, it gives away to much. All the Angels are listed here, and their office. Now, moving on and starting to wrap up (this article got long), we move towards a couple of these theories. First off, is that ancient writers say that SoNiNi did allow some of these disembodied Spirits to run around and torment, only for an appointed time. These spirits being the Nephilim, who then came after the flood (in our times). These should be characterised by us as demons and unclean spirits, sent to lead people astray through their sins until the Final Judgement. This could very well be that they were allowed to go on for a time. Explains a lot.
Other theories present the Descendants of Cain and Seth. That Seths offspring rebelled from SoNiNi and mingled with the daughters of Cain (most writers after Christ was born, AD and onwards embrace this theory). This would include people like the African Augustine of Hippo, Julius Africanus, St. Clement, but we will find this echoed also in the Amharic Bible (Henok 2,1-3):
"...and the Offspring of Seth, who were upon the Holy Mount, saw them and loved them. And they told one another, 'Come, let us choose for us daughters from Cain's children; let us bear children for us.'"
So there is that, a Bible from Ancient Babylonian lands in Africa, says these where indeed offspring of Seth. This evolves the theory and implies the human element. That some people truly are damned? Scary stuff right there. Can these ones not be saved? No we do not think so, SoNiNi can turn any man, but very troubling if the seed truly is corrupted. You must be born again then...
The Targums and Jewish writings will take somewhat of a stance from all this mind you, with translations of Sons of God, as reading Sons of Rulers or Sons of the Judges (Targums). Taking away much of the ideas and concepts Fallen ones and giants all together. Its like the police officer saying, move along folks nothing to see here. We think there is plenty to see here and doctrines of men and various coverups to be revealed. And revealed they will be as the light moves in closer, as heaven draws more near, so does hell. Light or Darkness.
So all in all, is there something to these stories of Giants? We sure think so, but the literature is not really conclusive, unless you place Enoch into your daily Scriptures. Anakim and Nephilim seems to be the very same people, chained by the neck awaiting to go down. And drag anyone who follows them down with them. If you place these points along with Enoch into your readings - things then become very clear, and placing these beings behind the scenes into the worldview today, and the agendas being pushed on us. There is a philosophy being preached, and it goes against the word of SoNiNi. It may just be that some of these watchers are influencing more then people would like to admit. Claiming worship for themselves and away from SoNiNi.
However, people must not disregard Angels, as SoNiNi surely has people under him that is still in line with His teachings, serving only Him (Jude 1,14-15):
It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, SoNiNi comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
