Garden of Gethsemane in Lesotho

Hello family ! Brothers and Sisters in the Faith! There is only a brief article prepared this time. Because as of now, there is not to much current historical data and or remarks, also I have not been to this location yet. However this location needs to get out there in the same thread of recent Biblical Lesotho areas in southern Africa. The Garden of Gethsemane, the place that was said to be at the foot of the Mount of Olives in the Eastern Parts of Jerusalem. If you turn the map, as if you are looking at it from the East (like SoNiNi sees the world from His throne in the East), this location is in the eastern parts of Lesotho, or Basutoland as it used to be called (old borders are a much longer topic). Now this is another location that has been called out by different research communities as Gats Mine somewhere in Central Africa, folks, its not there. Either we are completely wrong about Jerusalems size and location, or the areas of Congo are indeed talking about other ancient lands that are outside the Biblical Israel. It is indeed, to far away. How was Christ caught in this garden and then taken all the way down to the place of the Skull OUTSIDE Jerusalem... All in one night? Did they drive a vehicle? Or perhaps a pure-breed Zebra or some other equally fanciful means of transportation...? No, not likely. People spurring this location has likely never even set foot in Africa, let alone understand the share size and distances you have to cover to move from ONE country to another. Not taking into consideration the effort it would take traveling several modern countries at their full length. Anyone who has done traveling on the continent by vehicle, will be able to tell you that these are very large distances to cover, and this would be even more difficult in ancient times. So, Getshemane Garden, would likely be inside or in the vicinity of Jerusalem, specifically in the eastern parts of Jerusalem - as He was apprehended by Romans there and actually brought to various places before He ended up at at last The Place of the Skull (Ha Lehata / Gulguletha).

From the possible location of the Garden of Gethsemane and for instance the other possible location of the place of the Skull (Ha Lehata or The National Park which is even closer), Ha Lehata is a 52hour straight walk and the Park is half a days walk. Now for anyone who enjoys walking will tell you, even this first location at a 52 hour walk is a distance that requires planning. Imagine treacherous roads and wild animals roaming, bandits, etc - these are but a few things that is automatically added to your list of challenges. They would all undoubtedly make even this small stretch of road that is walkable, a challenge but more likely then the options presented. With a donkey, as is the transport of preference with the Sothos, the trip would be quicker yes, but not by a lot. Adding here, that our Scriptures does not include any animals being used for this stretch of road. Everyone walked.

So, if this place of Gethsemane, that is now a little Mission, was the place of the Beautiful Garden described, we have the Mount of Olives not far off and the same with Cana, all based in the eastern parts of Jerusalem. And as we say if the Garden is the place where uMsindisi/Mpolosi was apprehended before He was hung or impaled on the tree. The etymology of the word, Gethsemane (Γεθσημανή) comes from the Aramaic form, which would be something like Gad-Sman. In the ancient Hebrew it has this translation of (שְׁמָנִים) gath shemanim means pressed oil or the oil press itself. A place of Olives would be something one should look out for. We can find some other descriptions like (χωρίον) that reads chōríon which means estate, in Matthew 26,36 and Mark 14,32. In the Gospel of John we see Him entering a garden (κῆπος) or kêpos (John 18,1):

When he had finished praying, Immanuel left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.

And just like that, we find another very important location in Kidron Valley, which would also have been in the same areas. The Garden of Gethsemane was inside or just across from the Kidron Valley. A place frequented by Christ and His disciples. We see this from the fact that Judas knew exactly where He was to be found at the night of the apprehending. So, in the mapping we can find 4 locations (there are even more) that are said to be within very short distance of one another - and all of them were said to be at the western foot of the Mount of Olives - in the eastern parts of Jerusalem.

• The location near the Tomb of Joseph were Mary saw Him risen

• Kidron Valley, that had to be crossed to get to the Garden

• Jerusalems Walls, Roman and Bantu, will have remains close by

• Lastly we have all the rest very close by: Mount of Olives, Mount Zion, Place of the Skull, the wedding at Cana, Nazareth and Betlehem, and last but not least the total circumference of Jerusalems walls, remember all would be within walking distance of one another

If most of these locations can indeed be found within or in a close proximity of one another in Lesotho and South Africa, all of Israel will in the future be found and mapped among these valleys. And there are many people now actively looking for these ancient Holy Places. Not just on this site. we all play a part in the revelations that are coming. So we do share while we still can. The truth will be known again. Jerusalem will be known again. The question is, when will her people wake up? and when they do awaken, will they then remember what happened? Will they remember their past? A tree without roots, is like a people without a past, it is no longer alive. Seek the author of life, seek SoNiNi. Seek the Father of heaven and earth. He is close, closer then ever before.
